Born in Barcelona, got the piano teacher qualification in
the Academia Ars Nova with Raquel
Millàs.
At the same time, studied violin with Alberto
Chacra
and coral direction with the master Manel
Cabero.
Started his singing studies with the teacher Montserrat
Pueyo
and later with
Maty
Pinkas,
Singing Professor in the Higher State Singing Academy of Sofia
(Bulgary). Has received classes of Eric Halfvarson, Paata Burchuladze,
Plácido Domingo and Edda Moser.
Has taken part in the Francisco
Viñas
Music Internacional Competition and in “l´Académie
Internationale
d´Eté
de
Nice”.
Prizewinner of a grant to take part in “l´Académie Musicale de
Villecroze” and work with
Lorraine
Nubar
, teacher in the
Julliard
School
of New York.
During the 2006/2007 has studied and worked in the Bayerisches
Staatsoper München, where has carried out as main role the German
version of La pietra del paragone de Rossini, Die Liebesprobe.
In song, specialized in German lied and French and
Russian song. Works the German lied and the French song with
Dalton
Baldwin.
Has carried out several recitals, standing out in his repertory
Dichterliebe of Schumann, Vier Ernste Gesänge of J. Brahms,
Michelangelo-lieder of Wolf, D. Qichotte of Ibert and las Canciones y
Danzas de la Muerte of Mussorgski.
As oratorio soloist, has song the Messiah of Haendel with
the “Orquestra de l´Acadèmia del Liceu”, several cantatas of J.S. Bach,
the Requiem of Faurè, la Misa de la
Coronación,
la Gran Misa en Do menor KV 427, the Requiem and several Misas
Brevis
of W. A.
Mozart,
the
Orfeo
of
Haydn
with the “Orquesta Sinfónica de Granada” and has taken part in the XIIIª
Schubertiada
of Vilabertrán singing la Misa en Sol Mayor of
Schubert
D.167 with the “Orquestra de Cambra del Liceu”.
In the opera, has performed Leporello of D. Giovanni de
Mozart, D. Basilio a Il Barbiere di Siviglia of Rossini, Colline a La
Bohème of Puccini, Oroveso a la Norma de Bellini, Le Comte

Has worked in the opera-ballet Pulcinella of Igor

Liebe Musik Theater für Jugendliche of Minas Borbouakis. Recently, has
performed the role of Rei Barbut in La filla del Rei Barbut of Matilde
Salvador.
Has been conducted for Kent Nagano, Ivor Bolton, Daniel
Oren, Christopher Hogwood, Antoni Ros-Marbà,
Victor-Pablo Pérez, Pep Vila.
Has taken
part of the “Cor de Cambra del Palau de la Música Catalana” with the
direction of Jordi Casas, where he has performed different
collaborations as soloist and the recording of the Taltabull Chinese
Songs.
