Bertha Granados  (Sopran)

Die Sopranistin wurde in Mexiko-Stadt geboren. Ihre musikalische Ausbildung zur Opernsängerin begann sie am National Konservatorium für Musik in ihrer Heimatstadt bei Enrique Jaso. (1991 Abschluss mit Auszeichnung als dipl. Opern.- und Konzertsängerin).

Sie hat mit bedeutenden Künstlern wie Ramón Vargas, Luis Girón May, Renata Scotto und Justino Díaz privat gearbeitet. Meisterkurse bei Magda Olivero, Eugene Kohn, Denise Massé,  Joan Dornemann, Tito Capobianco, Nico Castel, Nigel Rogers, Josep Cabré und Zeger Vandersteene.

Sie hat beim Nationale Wettbewerben „Fanny Anitúa“ und „Carlo Morelli“ das Erster Platz in Mexiko Stadt gewonnen. Bertha Granados hat ein breit gefächertes Repertoire. Bisher trat sie auf als: Die Königin der Nacht (Die Zauberflöte), Madame Herz (Der Schauspieldirektor), Konstanze (Die Entführung aus dem Serail), Tamiri (Il Rè Pastore), Elettra (Idomeneo), Mutter (Hansel und Gretel), Fanny (La Cambiale di Matrimonio), Serafina (Il Campanello), Leonora (Il Trovatore), Mimí (La Bohème), Luisa (Luisa Miller), Violetta (La Traviata), Lady Macbeth (Macbeth), Floria Tosca (Tosca) und Norma (Norma).

Weiters hat sie folgende Oratorien gesungen: “Krönungsmesse” und “Requiem”  von W. A. Mozart,  „Deutsches Requiem“ von J. Brahms, “Gloria” und “Dixit Dominus” von A. Vivaldi, “Die Neunte Symphonie” und „Missa Solemnis“ von L. van Beethoven,  „Stabat Mater“ und „Petit Messe“  von G. Rossini, „Requiem“ von G. Verdi. Ihr umfangreiches Repertoire umfaßt sowohl verschiedene ausgewählte Zarzuelas und semiklassische mexikanische Musik.
